Manglish?? No laa..

It's been a while
since i last
drafting the letter in English.

its not just simply
translating malay words and phrases
to english equivalents..

but the so called
official letter
is more literate
than that..
::i really thought::

just now
i was so relief
to reply back
the invitation letter
from bank islam.

from this actual experience
i realised that
the government culture,
working environment and
official verbal language
are not a hindrance
to my usage of english
because i will always
accessing the situations
with the benefit of hindsights...uh?

What A Relief!!

Even though feeling drowzy at times
early this morning..

i can take heart that my beloved team
manchester united aka red devils
are now qualified to face arsenal
in champs league semi final..

what a wonderful, sublime and audacious
rocket shot from 39.6 yards by current
world player of the year - cristiano ronaldo
to silence the Porto home crowd, early on 6 minutes..

and it seems enough to determine
the outcome of the match
beyond doubt (84 + 3 minutes) afterwards..

with that
i want to congratule
all the teams who officially qualified :
barca, the blues, the gunners and the red devils..

all the ardent supporters out there
no wonder can expect
very sumptuous, exhilarate match display from
all top four
best teams in europe
to stamp their places
in the champs league exclusive final showdown
at rome stadium, italy come this May....

Nostalgia Ek?

tiap2 kali Jumaat mnjelang ataupun dah tiba
kaum Adam yg muslim pastinya
teringat2 akan nostalgia bersolat Jumaat..

dulu2 masa bersekolah
aku dan kwn2 akan dtg awal ke masjid
membaca quran,i'tiqaf mahupun solat tahiyyatul masjid
teringat jua sumenye memakai uniform yg sama
sepasang baju melayu putih bersama sampin belang2 biru.
sebelum akhirnya segelintir
terlelap ketika khutbah d baca..

juga teringat komen novelis h.m tuah iskandar
ketika ku berkunjung ke pesta buku antarabangsa d kala itu;
'kenapa ya budak2 ***** sering tidur beramai2
waktu khutbah jumaat dibaca..??'

aku fikir jawabnya:
bila 'ter'tidur dalam melakukan amal ibadah, adalah dimaafkan bukan?

berbalik kepada masa kini;
kenapa ya mesti ada jemaah yg tidur ketika khutbah dibaca?
juga kenapa ya ada yg sengaja
melambatkan kehadiran diri ke masjid sehinggalah
doa' utk kesejahteraan muslimin muslimat dibaca
sedangkan mereka tahu pentingnya
didengar khutbah yg disampai oleh khatib?

yg buat aku sedikit terkilan
ada yg mengganggu kekhusyu'an
jemaah lain mendengar khutbah
dgn berdengkur sekuat yg boleh?

kalaulah sedar diri itu memang tidurnya berdengkur
apelah kiranya tahankan saja niat utk 'ter'tidur
d dlm rumah Allah itu..?

waduh,waduh..bikin panas saja.
harapnya kali ini,aku dpt bersolat Jumaat
tenang2 saja.
bukan apa, kini aku akui seminggu sekali
saja hadirnya berjemaah d masjid...

ampunkan daku, ya rabbana!!

:::i can't wait:::

Surely,this sunday 5th APRIL 2009
i will travel to
bukit gantang constituency
to taste the 'heat fever' over there..

hopefully all the guns blazing
from all the parties competed
but still the intentions are clear;
whatever it is
the famous and anonymous quote
once said;

"..yg menang x menang semua, yg kalah x kalah semua.."

to all elegible voters ( 55,575 peoples) out there,
please come back to ur hometown
b4 or on tuesday - 7th April 2009
as to cast ur votes..

and to all party workers
see u in kuala sepetang
previously known as port weld
to consume that 'mi banjir udang'
in the midst of the stiff election battle..

my only pray then,
the price is nonetheless
stay the same..hehe

What does 'Love' mean?
A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, 'What does 'love' mean?'

The final one :Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about a contest he was asked to judge.

The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child.

The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife.

Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there.

When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbour, the little boy said,
'Nothing, I just helped him cry'
